We're back. Discipline to Win wanted to get you a special edition election reaction podcast today. Here with my partner Nick Frazetta, wanted you to get to hear direct from us on our take on what the election means to you, what it means for the country in our opinion, and really everything that, you know, was either in our opinion good or startling from our experience with the election yesterday. I guess first Nick, I'll just toss it up to you. What's your thoughts on 24 hours later now, basically from the start of the election yesterday?

I'll tell you what, right now, and that's that we're putting this on. It's not coming off for a long time because in my opinion, this is the greatest feat that's ever happened in American history. I think it is too. Whether you like Donald Trump or you don't like Donald Trump, if you look at what the adversity that he went through for the last essentially, at this point, almost 10 years. Almost a decade. Of you have indictments, you have ridiculous amount of scrutiny from fake news, you have all of these things that not only the left or the other side, but the world came down on him for. And the fact that he was able to then, especially after January 6th, where everyone thought he was done, like after that happened, because it looked so bad.

And for him to come back and reunite the Republican Party, I think in what the results were, and we could talk about that, I think reunite the country. Obviously not every single person, there's a lot of people that obviously hate him. But if you look at the astounding gaps in which he won, in the states that he won, and the fact that he even won the popular vote, which people thought that if he was going to win, there was no chance he was going to win the popular vote. Like they definitely lost that in 2016. Exactly. He lost that in 2016. People didn't think that he was going to win that. It wasn't even close. We're talking about like four, five, six points. All the votes haven't been counted as if we're filming this right now. But I mean, a lot of the votes that haven't been counted are going to be read. And I truthfully believe that it is the greatest comeback. It is the greatest accomplishment in the history of our country.

Let's not forget that he took a bullet two months ago. I mean, the amount of hate I would say that has been thrown around for the last, I mean, this election cycle has been probably two years to where I feel like the country as a whole can take a deep breath today. And the like dog fight that has ensued for years and years at this point is completely over. And I think that just like you mentioned, President Trump's biggest task right now is like fully uniting the country and getting a country that has been, I would say, divided for the better part of the last decade, getting them all together. There's nothing that can be done at this point for the people that hate him, the people that love him. Like it's their job to try to, I would think, bring everybody together at this point to move forward because there are way bigger problems in the world right now than any political candidate in America. So at the end of the day, we are all Americans. And I think we need to move forward together as one country if we are going to compete on the global scale and weather the storms that are undoubtedly coming at us as a country right now. Like we have to do it together. You can't do it with like half the country.

Totally. And I think and I hope that there's going to be for a period of time, like a lot of people are going to be upset, but I hope that the division starts to die down. Like we've had this last four years of like complete division, people hating one side, hating the other. And like, even if it would have went the other way, I know, at least for us, like we have to continue to operate business, we have to continue to move forward. I would have wanted her to do the best job possible. I would have wanted her to lead the country. It helps everybody. Because that helps like what I want. I don't want to happen is to see the other side continue to try to bring him down, continue to try to do everything in their power to essentially not have the country move forward and not have us go in a direction that is better for everybody involved. If you truly are an American and you believe in the amazing country that we're lucky enough to be in, then you should hope that these next four years are the best four years in our country's history because it is going to help every single person involved. So I really hope that as a country, obviously the next couple of weeks, probably a couple months are going to be still a lot of division. But I hope over the next four years, we can start to see the country come together. We can start to see people come together. I don't know if the next four years is going to be perfect, but I do believe that it is in everyone's best interests to at least come together and hope that everything does go well. And we can continue to get back on the right path that we're destined to be on.

I think it over the last 10 years, it has become a, if you are on one political party or the other, that is just like, oh, you're just not even like people are just like, I'm not even going to talk to that person. I don't even want to get to know them now to where I hope that we can somehow get past that. And everybody has responsibility in that to where like no citizen in America was going head to head. It was literally two candidates that were going head to head. Like people that voted for Trump did not like beat Americans that voted for Kamala yesterday. Like people that voted for Kamala yesterday, it didn't lose anything. Like everyone was getting to exercise their right, which is an unbelievable right to have a say in who we elect and choose to lead the country. And I think it was a complete fair election yesterday. And we now have our leader for the next four years and it is everyone's job to be the best leader they can be in their community and circle a network to try to do their part in uniting everybody together to move forward as one team of Americans, which is what we all are. Now, with that being said, obviously I think that us being pro business, us being really for obviously tax efficiencies, I think that we are going to have a fantastic economic environment to operate in for the next four years. And if you're a small business owner, if you're operating at a massive level, you know, there's probably even a better environment for you. If you're at the C Corp level with keeping the corporate net income tax rate as low as possible to where now is the time to take action as a business owner to make moves and make decisions that is going to amplify the velocity that you're going to be able to scale for the next four years to where I think that it is your responsibility as a business owner to not squander this opportunity to operate in potentially what's about to be one of the most pro business environments that we've seen in a long, long time.

And I want to make it clear too, it's not just because a lot of people talk about like without getting too involved in like what all the tax plans are going to be, but okay, cutting the corporate tax rate helps the billionaires, it helps the ultra rich. We're a, we own a business of 50 people where we don't have a 10,000 plus employee business and I can certainly say it benefits us and it's going to benefit every single one of our employees at our company because if we are able to save money that's going unnecessarily away or tax rates are going to be lower, it's going to provide more opportunity for our people. It's going to allow us to hire more people and it's going to put more money in the pockets of every single person within our organization. So I want to make that clear too. It's not the,

so like, we're like, Oh, great, we're going to personally make this money.

Exactly. We can go now put more money back into our people, back into our organization, back into our communities and go provide more jobs, provide more impact.

Something that I think a lot of people don't even realize that's a tax that every small business interfaces is payroll tax, which is seven and a half percent to where, you know, if you're going to give an employee a, you know, $10,000 raise that costs the company, you have to pay a tax of $750 to pay them an extra 10,000. So it's not an additional cost of 10,000 to the company. It's additional cost of $10,750 to the company to where Trump has already proposed eliminating payroll tax toward that is now an additional 7% that you can pass to either increasing wages for all of your people, or you can now bring on an additional 7% of people into your workforce, which was getting, you know, excuse my language, pissed away, basically Lord knows where that's going in the federal government spending to where like the tax cuts are not about making anyone richer. It is about putting more money into the economy and at higher wages and the ability to hire more people like every time we level up the business and are able to generate more revenue. We're not like, great, we now are making this much more money. It is always hiring as many people as we can as quick as we can to continue to grow the organization, which provides jobs in the economy. I mean, we've come in five years from creating one job in our local economy to where now 50 families in our community are now employed in this organization, which is one of the most proud things that we've managed, I think to accomplish to where if we can turn that into a hundred jobs in the community where we're providing healthcare, we're providing retirement, we're providing high wages, you know, in a fantastic environment to work, those types of things are going to be possible, I think more and more so over the next four years because of the policies I'm hoping are put into place.

Totally. And I think, is he going to be perfect? Absolutely not. There's nobody that's going to be perfect in that role and it's such a scrutinized role, but if you're looking at it from a standpoint of, is there going to be more opportunity for you? Are you going to feel safer in the country that you're in? I would 1000% say that that's going to be the case. And I'm really interested to see and I'm really excited to see. I think this is an exciting time to be an American. I think it's a very exciting time to your point to be in business. We're so fortunate to be able to operate in this time and in the country that we're in, we're so fortunate. We're more fortunate than 99% of the world just being in the country that we are. And I think people have to look back at that too. The fact that you even got to go out and vote,

millions of people have died for that right. There's millions of people in other countries who have died for that who don't have that right because they're not as fortunate. So the fact that we even got to contribute in making a decision to do this is, we're extremely fortunate to be able to do that. And yeah, I mean, I'm excited for the next four years and I'm excited to see hopefully that our communities and that our country and that the division starts to end and we start to come together as a group.

100%. It's time to be able to like continue to just have civil conversations with people that you don't agree with, which is one of the best things in our country is that we have the freedom to differ in opinions to where there's so many countries around the world where if you express a difference in opinion, you're executed. Still to this day. So like, I feel beyond fortunate that we can hold a civil election. People can make their voices heard in casting their vote. And then today we can go forward and hopefully move forward as a country united as one and go out and compete on the global stage and create more prosperity for our country and hopefully continue to create prosperity around the world. So really excited for the chance to move past the last decade and move forward. I feel in a new era of being an American. So really excited.
